We left Lake Tahoe and headed for Yosemite. It was a long drive into the park from the East side. This really limited our options of what to see due to having to drive over, around the Sierra Nevada’s. We are limited on time so it was not an option to drive any further.

We opted to go to the Yosemite Valley. The views were unimaginable if you have not ever been there. Please check out the photos.

Not sure if Kelly was having altitude sickness or not but she was so fatigued, she didn’t want to come up from the valley. She slept the hour plus drive up from Yosemite Valley. On the way back up the mountain the car also got sick. Appears we have stabilizer/traction sensor light and emissions light coming on. We may have to have that looked at in Las Vegas, the closest Suzuki dealer. Thank goodness for extended warranties and trip interruption reimbursement. We may need to stay in Vegas a few days. Car seems to be fine and it may only be a sensor issues but we are not driving through Death Valley but heading straight to Vegas tomorrow.  We are currently staying in Mammoth Lakes.  Had to bring in everything to the hotel as big brown bears are breaking into cars.  I am tempted to throw out some food but big brown bears...maybe not.
